Our ham hocks come from pigs raised in the woodland – rooting through the forest and living naturally. We smoke them and cure them using natural methods with no nitrates or nitrites added. Just pork, smoke, and proper technique.
Ham hocks are all about adding deep, smoky flavor to whatever you’re cooking. Toss one in a pot of beans, simmer it with collard greens, or use it as the base for split pea soup. As it cooks, the meat becomes tender and falls off the bone while the collagen breaks down and adds body to your dish. That’s flavor you can’t get from a bouillon cube.
