Our Virginia-raised beef at Longbottom Farm is grass-fed & grass-finished. We provide cuts from pasture-raised cattle that produce a rich, complex, and artisanal flavor. The cattle are allowed to mature slowly on grass, just as nature intended. We feed no supplemental grains nor use hormones or antibiotics. This means you get great tasting, healthy, chemical free cuts of beef. Grass-fed beef has been shown to be higher in heart and brain healthy omega 3 fatty acids, beta carotene, and vitamins A & E. This translates into a premium, grass-fed, pasture-raised beef we know you are going to love!

A delivery fee of $0.99 per mile (from farm to drop off location; up to 50 miles) is added to total if home delivery is desired. How to Order

Farm Pickup
Pick up your order here at Longbottom Farm with our self serve, grab and go. Place your order online and choose your pick date & time. Your order will be waiting at the entrance to the farm. Just grab and go. Thats it!. Farm tours and in person pick-up will resume once COVID has slowed.
Charlottesville City Market To-Go
Visit us at the Charlottesville City Market To-Go. We will be there every Saturday from 8 - noon. This is a drive thru market where you order online Mon-Thur, and pick up on Saturday. This runs from April – December. Pick up orders for City Market MUST be made though the City Market To-Go website. Just search for Longbottom Farm!

Delivery
We personally deliver locally (within 30 minutes of the farm) every Wednesday for orders over $50 ($6 delivery charge) and FREE DELIVERY for orders over $99. Just leave a cooler outside in a visible location. Expect delivery between 9am and 1pm on your scheduled date. Our regional Fed Ex delivery is on hold while we navigate this pandemic.
For delivery, we'll deliver to your door and place your order in a cooler provided by you. This allows us to do our part in preventing COVID-19 spread. Eggs will be delivered refrigerated and must remain refrigerated to ensure safety (washed eggs), freshness, and longevity.
