Here’s What’s Happening ‘Round the Farm
Hey Reader,
Hope you’ve been taking advantage of these, dare I say, fall(ish) temperatures. We’re enjoying swimming but gonna be honest, I’m reallyyyy looking forward to fall. Here’s a quick update on what’s happening ’round the farm.
🥩 Beef
The freezers are full with plenty of beef cuts in stock.
We also have 1/8 and 1/4 beef shares available for pickup this fall if you’re looking to stock up.
🐔 Pastured Poultry
So, if you read our email a few weeks ago, you know we have no whole birds this batch — the processor mistakenly parted everything.
That said, we’ve got plenty of boneless / skinless breasts, leg/thigh quarters, tenders, and more available. Great for easy meals.
🥚 Eggs
The hens are laying strong and we’re fully stocked.
No limits, no shortages — just fresh eggs raised on pasture and non-GMO feed.
🐖 Woodland-Raised Pork
We’ve got pork chops, ribs, bacon, and more available.
Everything is pasture-raised with no antibiotics or added hormones. A good time to grab what you need.
🦃 Holiday Turkeys
We’ll be offering pasture-raised Thanksgiving turkeys again this year.

Getting Pasture-Raised Meats Doesn’t Have to be Hard
Want to pick some Longbottom Farm beef, pork, poultry, eggs, and coffee as well as other locally produced goodies. These are the places to do it.
Farm Pick-Up – Order online and pick up your order at our newly constructed barn. Place your order online, then once you receive the “Your Order is Ready for Pick-up” email (24 – 72 hours), pick-up anytime between 8am – 8pm SEVEN DAYS A WEEK! Your Order will be placed in our outdoor freezers / fridge for pick-up at your convenience and labeled with your name. Easy-peasy!
Local Delivery – We offer local home delivery to the Scottsville / Charlottesville / Palmyra areas (availability is determined by zip code at checkout). We deliver every Thursday for orders over $50 ($6 delivery charge) and FREE DELIVERY for orders over $99. Simply Order online and we’ll take care of the rest!
