We’re Still Here!
(Turkeys, Cuddles, & Farm Updates)
First off, a big apology for going radio silent lately. As usual, this time of year turns into a circus, but it’s a good kind of crazy that leaves little room for much else. We’ve been knee-deep in farm chores, and honestly, it’s been a reminder of what truly matters.
Take my youngest, for example. Every time I crack open the laptop, she’s there, ready for a cuddle. I don’t scroll through social media (except for maybe a quick peek at Reddit headlines), but between inventory, website updates, and the never-ending business side of farming, it’s a lot and requires a significant amount of computer time.
Still, I know these moments won’t last forever. Soon, there’ll be no more “cuddle time” requests, so I’m doing my best to be present and soak it all in, even if it means closing the laptop and pushing work aside sometimes.
Now, let’s talk farm:
Beef: We’re fully restocked and have a couple of our smaller Beef Shares available. My apologies to those with large shares we had to cancel.
Turns out a few cows we thought were open had babies. Surprise! To ensure we’ve got beef for later this year and early next, we had to make the tough call and cancel some large shares.
Pork: We’ll be fully restocked in 2-3 weeks, including shares, and yes, more bacon! Because who doesn’t need more bacon in their life?
We also have some new Bratwurst Flavors coming (Beer Brats and Andouille) so stay tuned!
Chicken: Ground Chicken and Breakfast Chicken Sausage are back! Plus, we have more birds going in at the end of the month, so we’ll be restocked in parted cuts soon.
Turkeys: Come late September, we’ll be taking deposits for Pasture-Raised Thanksgiving Turkeys. We’ll likely offer three ranges (small, medium, and large) based on weights, on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to watch these emails for more updates.
We’re only raising 50 this year, but if all goes well, we plan to scale up next year and might even offer turkey ground/sausage, breasts, wings, and legs in the off-season.

Would be interested in ground turkey. Would rather ground dark meat than breast which is usually dry and needs fat added to it so what’s the point? 🙂 Would also be interested in legs or breasts as well.
