Oh Those Little Legs

Here’s one of our little ones trying to keep up with momma.  Occasionally we catch silly or memorable moments on the farm and this is one of them I so wanted to share.  Enjoy!

Beginning Monday 8/7, Farm Pick-ups Will Be SEVEN DAYS PER WEEK!!!

We’re thrilled to announce an exciting new way to pick up your orders, making your shopping experience even more convenient and efficient!

We’ve heard your feedback and understand how important it is for you to have easy access to our pasture-raised meats and eggs. To enhance your shopping experience, we’ve installed outside freezers and refrigerators at our barn.  This means beginning Monday, August 7th, there will only be one option for pick-up at check-out and you’ll be able to pick-up 7 days a week (8am – 8pm).  No more 2 day, time slot stuff!

Here’s how the new pick-up process works:

Place Your Order: 

Visit our website at longbottomfarm.com to place your order. Choose your favorite cuts of meat and the freshest eggs, and don’t forget to add any other products you love from our farm (Swag, Soap, and more!).

Await Your Confirmation Email: 

Once your order is placed, you’ll receive an email stating we’ve received your order.  This means we are putting it together which takes typically 24-48 hours (rarely 72 hours).  You’ll then receive a second email stating that “Your Order Is Ready For Pick-Up!”

Pick-up at Your Convenience: 

Once you’ve received your order ready email, pick-up will be available 7 DAYS A WEEK from 8am – 8pm.  Just drive up to our barn and you’ll see the pick-up area (see photo below).  Your order will be labeled and available in the clearly marked outdoor Freezer and Fridge.  Just look indside for the bag with your name on it, and that’s it.  We’ve even placed a few rocking chairs if you’d like to take a moment and enjoy the view of the farm, lower fields, and the James River. 

To summarize, beginning Monday 8/7, you’ll place your order for pick-up, await the,’Your Order Is Ready For Pick-Up!’ email, then pick-up anytime after that from 8am – 8pm seven days a week.  Of course Market Pick-up and Delivery are still options.

Orders for this week (7-31 – 8/6) REMAIN FRIDAY & SATURDAY (11AM – 4PM), but then we’re retiring that!  If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
