Moooving Cattle To New Pastures On The Farm  🌿☘🌻

Moving cattle regularly around the farm is best for the cattle and keeps the pastures productive.  Here Lexi is taking a stroll with the cattle to a new paddock. 

It’s Fall Y’all!

Greetings from the farm! As the leaves start to change and the cool breeze flows in, it’s finally fall y’all and it’s my favorite season of the year – well, it’s neck and neck with spring, to be honest.  With this change in the air, the farm begins to mellow down and take a breather, and we get to enjoy the outside more without the heat and humidity.  Here’s what else is happening on the farm:

Grass-fed Beef:

Our 100% grass-fed beef is now available with another batch coming next month.  We know steaks and shares have been absent the website, so we’re pushing more through to try and fix that.  More to come.

Pastured Poultry:

We have all your favorite cuts in stock, with more being added late next month.  That will be our final group for the year, until we resume again next Spring, so stock up!

Woodland Pork:

We have dates mid October for our Woodland Pork.  That means chops and bacon will be restocked, as well as a variety of sausage flavors and brats.  All shares will also be available, and open up for deposits in the next week or so.  Keep an eye out and we’ll send out an email once open.

Pick-up 7 Days a Week:

Place your order online, then after 24 – 48 hours (rarely 72 hours), you’ll receive your confirmation email stating Your Order Is Ready For Pick-up!.  Then pick-up anytime Mon-Sun between 8am – 8pm.  Your order will be waiting in our outdoor freezers at the barn.  Just look for the Pick-up Here sign.  Retrieve your labeled bag from the freezer and that’s it!

Local Delivery:

We personally deliver locally to the Charlottesville / Scottsville area every Friday for orders over $50 ($6 delivery charge) and FREE DELIVERY for orders over $99.  Eligibility is determined by the zip code at checkout.  Just leave a cooler outside in a visible location.  Expect delivery between 9am and 1pm. Stay home and let us bring the farm to you!
