Well, it’s here! The Holiday Season is upon us.
On one hand, I’m super excited to see the kids’ excitement for when Santa comes, the time with loved ones, and sweets (Soooo many sweets!).
On the other hand, I’m ready to crawl in a hole and hide from Christmas shopping and traffic. Then there is the inevitable shame I’ll feel when someone gives me a gift and I didn’t give one in return, which happens every year. “Thanks uncle Joe who I haven’t seen in 5 years!”
Like life, we enjoy the good, endure the bad, and keep on keep on keepin on. Yin / yang, light / dark, good / evil.
