‘Round the Farm

Me trying to get a SNAKE out of the brooder. One of those mornings. 🐍

So they loaded up the truck, and they moved to Beverly’ 🎼

Baby chicks are doing great! Out of the brooder and on pasture in a week or so 🐤

Hey friends,

Today is Mother’s Day, and we just want to take a moment to say thank you.

Thank you to the moms, grandmas, wives, and women who keep families running, hands working, and hearts full.

Whether you’re working long hours, raising kids, running a business, caring for others, or doing some combination of it all—you’re seen and appreciated more than you know.

Here on the farm, we see it every day.

I see Lexi hauling feed and doing chores while juggling the girls’ extracurriculars and keeping track of every appointment and detail in our world.

I see their Oma stepping in on weekends to help with the girls, even after working a full week herself.

I see my Mom (their Grandma) making the long drive every couple of weeks—not just to spoil the girls (though she definitely does), but to check in on us and make sure we’re doing okay.

They’re the quiet strength behind so much of what we do.

So if you’re a mom, we hope today brings you a moment of rest, joy, and maybe even a hot cup of coffee that you didn’t have to reheat three times because you were keeping everything together.

If you’re lucky enough to hug or call your mom, grandma, or another special woman in your life today, take the time to tell her how much she means to you.

And if she’s no longer here, we hope today brings a moment to smile and remember everything she did and what she meant to you.

Happy Mother’s Day—from all of us at Longbottom Farm.

Thanks for following us and allowing us to serve you. If you have questions, give us a shout! Happy Mothers Day and have a wonderful week!

With our appreciation,

Jason, Lexi, & Family
