Spring Happenings at Longbottom Farm

Happy spring! We hope you’re loving the nice weather as much as we are. There’s been a lot of work on the farm, and we’ve got some fun updates and good news to share with you.

A Lucky Find: Our Daughter’s Four-Leaf Clover

First up, a cool story about our daughter. While we were moving the cows to a new paddock (we move them about every 3 days), she wondered if four-leaf clovers were real. I said, “Yes, but they’re tough to find.” Just then, she found one and yelled, “Dad, I found one!” It was a special moment that made us all smile. Maybe it even brought us some luck because we have great news for everyone who loves our beef.

Beef Stock Update: Grass-Fed and Grass-Finished Beef

We’ve been out of beef for a while now, but that’s changing. We’re getting more beef this Wednesday, and it’ll be ready for you on our website by Thursday. This isn’t just any beef; it’s our special grass-fed and grass-finished beef that we’re excited to have back.

Also, the Charlottesville City Market is back this Saturday, April 6th. We can’t wait to see you there. We’ll have lots of beef, pork, and eggs. Look for the Longbottom Farm banner, and you’ll find us. You can even pre-order on longbottomfarm.com and choose “Pick-up at the Market.” Your order will be waiting for you at the market!

Our Pastured Poultry is doing great, too. This means we’ll have our fresh, ethically raised poultry back in stock in about 6 weeks. We’re working hard to make sure you get the best poultry.
